Yes Day with The Raya House is a free, family-centered event created especially for foster, adoptive, and kinship families in our community. This special day is designed to celebrate and support the families who are caring for vulnerable children. Families will enjoy a fun-filled day with games, activities, and opportunities to connect, while also having access to local organizations offering helpful resources and free services such as haircuts, family photos, and more. At The Raya House, we believe that no family should walk this journey alone. A Yes Day is our way of creating space for connection, encouragement, and joy—where kids can simply be kids and families can feel seen, supported, and valued. We look forward to welcoming you for a day of fun, community, and care.

Vendors & Community Partners

We are looking for community partners to:

  • Provide helpful resources for families

  • Offer free services (such as haircuts, family photos, etc.)

  • Set up an interactive booth or activity

  • Share information about programs that support children and families

This is not a fundraising event—our goal is simply to serve and support families in our community.

We are especially looking for:

  • Haircut providers

  • Photographers (family photos)

  • Dental or health resources

  • Clothing closets or family support resources

  • Counseling or therapy services

  • Foster/adoption agencies

  • Community organizations serving children and families

If you have a service or resource that could benefit these families, we would love to partner with you! There is no cost to participate, and we ask that all vendors provide a family-friendly, service-oriented experience.

BECOME A VENDOR

Volunteers will help with:

  • Welcoming and checking in families

  • Leading activity stations (games, crafts, etc.)

  • Assisting with food and refreshments

  • Helping with setup and cleanup

  • Supporting families throughout the event

No special experience is needed—just a willingness to serve and be part of a joyful, family-friendly day.

We have several ways you can serve:

Setup Team (8:30–10:30 AM)
Help set up tables, stations, and supplies before families arrive

Event Volunteers (10:45 AM – 1:15 PM)
Assist with stations, check-in, food, and general support

Cleanup Team (1:00 – 2:00 PM)
Help clean up and pack supplies after the event

You can sign up for one role or multiple!
